A Home of Music

In 2015, Liverpool - already having been declared as a City of Pop - was awarded the prestigious title of a UNESCO City of Music, of which there are just forty two in the entire world! For fans of The Beatles - argued to be one of the most influential bands of all time, this may not come as a huge surprise, but as many Liverpudlians (people from Liverpool) would be proud to attest, The Beatles are just one of many musical talents to have emerged from the area over the years.
